Leadership and Volunteer Opportunities 

  •        Serve as a social media champion to support KDP’s Digital Marketing Team
  • Serve as a reviewer to select National Scholarship recipients
  • Serve as a reviewer to select National Classroom Teacher Grant recipients
  • Serve as a reviewer for The Teacher Advocate online magazine
  • Serve as a reviewer for Teaching Channel courses for KDP endorsement
  • Serve on a KDP National Advisory Council 
    • KDP Knowledge Development Advisory Council
    • KDP Membership Engagement Advisory Council
    • KDP Chapter Leader Advisory Council 
  • Be a thought leader within the KDP Online Community of Educators
  • Lead discussions in a KDP Statewide Online Network
  • Lead a KDP Online State Teacher Network
  • Deliver presentations at KDP Convo or for online workshops
  • Host a KDP Local or Statewide Meet Up (in-person or virtual)
  • Serve as Chapter Officer for a KDP Chapter
  • Serve on the KDP National Board of Directors
  • Participate in KDP’s national service programs to support and celebrate teachers

Local and National Activities

The KDP community offers a variety of local and national activities from online to in-person connections and learning opportunities.
