KDP Laureate Chapter Honorees
The Laureate Chapter was established in February 1924 to honor people who had made distinguished contributions to education. John Dewey was honored as the first KDP Laureate. Since 1924, 259 eminent educators have been named to KDP’s Laureate Chapter. Albert Einstein, Margaret Mead, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jean Piaget, and George Washington Carver were all KDP Laureates in earlier times.
